Historic West End Clean Up for Change April 21st
The West End Cleanup event is a combined effort from Hands on Charlotte, the Chris Canty Foundation, the City of Charlotte, Johnson C. Smith University, and many other community partners in order to support the revitalization efforts of the surrounding communities of Beatties Ford Road.
This event is open to families, faith based organizations, youth sports teams, and other community organizations.
Volunteer Activities: Volunteers will be working with residents of the neighborhood to help clean up and beautify the area. This will mainly involve picking up trash.
The minimum age to sign up for this project is 18. However, children ages 8 to 17 years old can volunteer if accompanied by a parent. Please call Hands on Charlotte to register a child at 704 333-7471.
